Smith D-Contact 50 the heavy-sinking minnow that revolutionized lure fishing in mountain streams. The D-CONTACT is a minnow with an “inertia slide” action. It is the spark that ignites the heavy sinking minnow.
The “D” in “D-CONTACT” refers to distance, depth and direction. All the mentioned are produced by the ultra-thin body and a built-in tungsten weight of 4.5g for the 50mm model.

The minnow have a inertial slide that moves at low-speed ranges. Smith D-CONTACT 50, due to its own weight, twists forward while trying to regain its posture due to the law of inertia.
